Cliche Posts - Vol, 1

Love is an odd thing.

No, seriously. What the hell?

What is it about that one single emotion that can make us act like complete idiotic and pretentious assholes? Why do we think that shits a good idea?

I just don't get it.

Oh, and it just gets worse. Take that one something or someone you care so much about, and throw them off somewhere that's about six or more hours away.

Go on.

I can wait.

Yeah. Sucks, doesn't it?

I'm sure some of you are thinking "That's not so bad, stop complaining. It's not like they're gone forever."

And I'm sure anyone else who has the same exact feelings will reply with "That may be true, but it sure does feel like it."

Of course, it doesn't get any easier trying to explain why that's the way it is.

Of course not, that would be down right reasonable. People wouldn't think you were insane (or possibly stupid).

We just can't have that, now can we?

Now, as for me, I'm actually starting to get sick of this feeling. I hate people thinking that there must be something wrong with me simply because I care about someone.

Just for the record, I know how all of you out there feel. I know it sucks. You know the saying 'If you love someone, let them go'?

I bet all of you just said 'Bullshit'.

Don't lie.

See? I get you.

But let's face it, something is bound to happen to screw everything up.

I'm normally not the helpful type, but I think I just need to hear it from myself as well.

If you're meant to be with that someone or something, nothing will be able to change how you feel and what you have. Not distance. Not anyone else. Not money. Nothing.

And if you love someone, let them know. Let them know exactly how much you care, and let them know as often as you can.

God knows, we all deserve it.
